July 15, 2008

I’m seeing a lot of reviews of the One-Theme WordPress Theme lately.

They have surely done something unique with the admin panels for the theme. Would you pay $99 for this theme?

Let me know what you think?

WordPress 2.6 Beta 1 available

June 24, 2008

It has only been a few weeks since I installed WordPress 2.5 on this blog, and Beta 1for the next release, WordPress 2.6, is already out!

The release is not as “big” as WordPress 2.5, but introduces a lot of small yet nice features, besides lots of bug fixes. I like the fact that the Admin Panel will have offline caching support using Gears. Read more about it here.

WordPress 2.5 released

March 30, 2008

WordPressWordPress 2.5 has been released. Before writing about the release, I thought it would be apt to first upgrade this blog to the latest version.

The new Admin Dashboard is very impressive. The interface has been given a significant overhaul. The upgrade itself was done using the WordPress Automatic Upgrade plugin, and it was a breeze. The Plugins page detected several plugins that needed upgrades, and all of them were upgraded using the new auto upgrade feature. Very impressive indeed!

If you haven’t yet had a look at WordPress 2.5, check out their screencast.

My first impression is a big THUMBS UP! for the release.
