Snapbomb: Make money writing reviews

September 5, 2008

Snapbomb is a website that brings together bloggers and blog advertisers into one portal whereby bloggers can snap up opportunities to write reviews and get paid for it in the process.

A blog takes about 24hrs to get approved in their system. Even if you have a PR0 blog, you can get approved into the system. The interesting aspect of Snapbomb is that it uses an “automated” logic to determine the value of each blog post.

Once your blog is accepted into the system, you will be presented with a list of opportunities you can write reviews about. You are given 12 hours to write a blog post and submit it into their system for approval.

There is no minimum amount that you need to earn to get paid.

As an advertiser, this is a great system to use for generating a buzz by using a select category of blogs to use for running a blog marketing campaign.

Why the buzz about Yahoo! Buzz?

August 20, 2008

Image representing Yahoo! Buzz as depicted in ...

Yahoo! Buzz opened its doors to the public yesterday and there has been no dearth of publicity that it has received from bloggers.

Many have incorrectly claimed that it is the answer to solve all your traffic needs.

For those not aware, Yahoo! Buzz is a Digg style website with one major difference. They have an Editorial staff that will choose which stories makes it to the front page, unlike Digg where an algorithm determines the same.

Yahoo! Buzz does have potential and if you write good articles, you might get some additional traffic coming your way. But do not expect it to be the answer to all your problems!

How do I integrate Yahoo! Buzz in my blog?

You can add Yahoo! Buzz buttons or simplify your life by downloading this plugin.

Social Networking using Blogoria

December 26, 2007

blogoria.gifBlogoria is a Blogger Search resource connecting Bloggers with other Bloggers, Readers and Advertisers.

Once you create an account for yourself, you can share your blog details with other bloggers or participate in their Discussion Forums which is powered by vBulletin. Since the website is new, the forums are yet to take off full steam. This is normal and as time goes by, the forums should get more and more active. Just like sites like MyBlogLog, you can add other bloggers into your network.

Blogoria has an interesting concept going. Give it a try…
