Google retiring AdSense referrals from August ‘08

Google Inc.

We are seeing some changes to the AdSense program after the DoubleClick acquisition by Google. Google is going to be discontinuing the AdSense referral program in the last week of August ‘08. Instead of this, they will adopt the “DoubleClick Performics Affiliate Network” as a replacement.

An excerpt from their email:

Why is this happening? We’re constantly looking for ways to improve AdSense by developing
and supporting features which drive the best monetization results for our publishers.  Sometimes, this requires retiring existing features so we can focus our efforts on the ones that will be most effective in the long term. For this reason, we will be retiring the AdSense Referrals program.

Affiliate Marketing with MarketLeverage

June 21, 2008

MarketLeverage is one of the web’s largest “Cost Per Acquisition” (CPA) networks. They believe in the concept of Performance Marketing for both Advertisers and Publishers.

Advertisers using MarketLeverage only pay for verified leads or sales and not on a CPC/CPM basis.

Publishers benefit significantly from MarketLeverage as well. You are assigned your own Publisher Manager right from day one. Publishers receive commission cheque payments via FedEx , and can take advantage of the industry’s highest paying lifetime referral program, where you earn 5% of the commission for each and every publisher you refer that signs up as a MarketLeverage Publisher.

Click here to get The Blog Profits Blueprint

Do you want to learn how to make over $5000 per month? Learn from Yaro Starak, an expert in the online world! He makes over $5000 per month from his blog alone.

Some time back he started a mentoring program where he teaches others on how to do the same. I’m sure you have heard of BlogMasterMind.

The program is less than $100 a month to become a member and you get direct access to your own blog mentor, plus all kinds of audios, videos and e-lessons to help you make money from your own blog.

Spending $100 per month to earn many times that amount sounds well worth it!

LinkXL: In-text ads with a difference

March 22, 2008

LinkXL enables web-based publishers and marketers to sell and purchase text link advertising within existing content using a fully automated system. In some sense, this is similar to what is offered by Kontera ContentLink, but with a difference. LinkXL links look completely similar to other links you’ve inserted on your own. There is absolutely no visual difference. In fact, there is no way for someone to figure out that there are paid links on the page when using LinkXL. It works completely behind the scenes. If you’re using a WordPress powered blog, all you need to do is to use their plugin, that’s it! Links will be inserted auto-magically!

LinkXL takes 40% as commission which is lower than what others typically take, which is basically an equal share of the earnings. I am not too sure right now, but I am assuming that you cannot use Kontera ContentLink alongwith LinkXL, as that might violate the Kontera Terms of Service.

Sign-up now for LinkXL.
