It is time to provide a recap for Online Presence for February 2008. To start off with, you might notice a change in the title of this post. Rather than using the title “The Best of Online Presence”, I’ve changed it to “Online Presence Blog Report”. The reason for the change is because I am moving beyond just providing the best posts from the last month. For the first time ever, I will be getting into providing traffic and money-earned statistics. After all, this blog is all about making money online.
Most Popular Posts
The three most popular posts from last month are:
- I started evaluating a PTC program called bux.to, and my 2nd week report on it was the most popular.
- 5 websites for stock photos was well received as well.
- I participated in the “International Blog Cup” and lost out in the Quarter Finals. The post on iBlogCup was well received, and I thank all those who voted for me during the 3 weeks of the tournament.
Traffic Statistics
- Last month, a total of 24 new blog posts were created.
- The blog averaged about 400 unique visitors daily with a total of 50,000 pages served in the month.
Money Earned
This is the first time I am disclosing my online earnings! The amount mentioned below is from a group of blogs/websites that follow the money making principles captured on the Online Presence blog. Hence, it seems best to capture them as part of this blog. Do note this does not capture the entire earnings that I make online.
The total amount made in February 2008 was $1308, with a breakup as shown below:
- Paid Reviews: $115.00
- CPC/CPM Ads: $411
- Text Ads: $432
- Others: $350
I have not captured any affiliate income above, as that part of my online business is being significantly reorganized right now. Affiliate income will be shown in the coming months. The above earnings were made by spending 30 minutes online daily. Considering that this is truly a part-time activity for me, I’m very pleased with it.
Do not come it with incomes of people like Darren Rowse or John Chow. They are full time bloggers and are in a league of their own! My aim is to grow the income by at least 20% month-on-month. In fact, I am well on track to do that for March, with this being just the 2nd day of the month!
