WordPress 2.3.3 released…

WordPress 2.3.3 has been released today. The release has been categorized as an urgent security release.

The release has a fix for XML-RPC. The bug allowed any valid user to edit posts of any other user on that blog. In addition to fixing this security flaw, 2.3.3 fixes a few minor bugs.

Online Presence has migrated to the new release already. It took me 10 seconds to complete the upgrade, thanks to a plugin called WordPress Automatic Upgrade.
