The Best of Online Presence in January 2008

Another month has gone by, and its time to list down the most popular posts on this blog from January 2008.

• Its no surprise that contest related posts seem to get the most visibility nowadays. The No Effort $100 Contest post was the most popular post in January. The winner was announced on January 10th.

• Entrecard is the latest buzzword amongst blogs and there are already some comparisons being made on whether it willhead the same direction as BlogRush since it gives a lot of traffic but with extremely high bounce rates. My post on Entrecard got the 2nd highest page views in the month. The follow-up post on this is due shortly.

• A new WordPress plugin, StripeAds, is making a huge impact. A lot of blogs including Online Presence is running it as a new medium for advertising.

Besides, the above, the following items are of significance as well:

• Besides running 2 contests on this blog, I won two contests as well. I got a free copy of OIOpublisher Direct and the Revolution Magazine Theme. The theme is already live on this blog (with some minor tweaks), and OIOpublisher will go live shortly.

• Technorati Rank: Kept fluctuating between 40K and 60K!
• Alexa Rank: Hovering around 100K
• Number of Posts in January ‘08: 33
• Avg. Unique Visitors Daily: 400
