No more rush using BlogRush!

Well…I’ve promoted BlogRush a fair bit on this blog since its launch.
Refer: Did you get your BlogRush flavour yet? and BlogRush: Did you get your traffic spike? for two articles on it.
Unfortunately, I’ve not really been pleased with its promised claims, and all the so called “shocking” changes they are going to be bringing “soon”. I had a look at the traffic stats, and was quite surprised to see that I have received only 2 visits to Online Presence via clicks on a BlogRush widget this month. How pathetic!
As of today, you will notice that Online Presence does not have the BlogRush widget any more on the site.
I hope the widget is working better for some of you at least.
Bye bye BlogRush…

Yep. a lot of people are coming to the same conclusion you have it seems…
… I found this blog entry on my new “BlogRush” mashup… opinions from all around the Internet about whether or not BlogRush is worth installing on your blog. I programmed it to update on a minute-by-minute basis.
The opinions I’m reading might surprise you.

I’ve been impressed with the idea behind Blogrush, but very unimpressed by the results thus far. I just joined and the next thing I knew I was being made to feel like I did something wrong? They use a lot of threatening talk which is not very conducive for their business. They give the impression that everyone using Blogrush is some kind of cheat or worse. Threatening your users when they are performing so badly is just passing the buck.
I may remove it too, but for now, at least, I will bear with it a little longer, but not much longer. I will give them a wee-bit longer, being as I am, kind hearted and a little curious. I hope it will work, but with each passing day, its looking to be more of some type of scam or something? Something just doesn’t feel right?
