Is the “John Chow Effect” worth it?

There is an interesting e-Book doing the rounds of the blogosphere currently. Alvin Phang’s 16-page e-Book posted on his blog talks about the $400 John Chow Review being the most painful US$400 ever spent on a review

I spent 10 minutes reading the report and its quite interesting!! The review was ordered for Alvin’s Atomic Blogging and the results of the review were not at all encouraging as per Alvin. He has captured as much statistics as he could in the e-Book to get his point across.

Well…so is it worth spending $400 on a John Chow Review. I guess I’ll leave it to those who order these reviews to decide.

One thing is for sure. Between Alvin & John Chow, they are getting a lot of attention based on this eBook!! ;-)
