If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed. Thanks for visiting!

Are you looking at an online storage medium for your backups? I would recommend IDrive-E.

IDrive-E is a leading online backup service provider that offers encrypted online backups for free (up to 2GB) and Unlimited storage (for $4.95/month). It is easy to use, fast and secure. Its obviously not just limited to your blog backups and can be used for storing just about anything you want.

Some of the features that I love about IDrive include:

  • Version control of your data; up to 30 versions!!
  • Encrypted data transfer
  • Backup every 10 minutes
  • Multiple account support

If you haven’t used IDrive yet, I would recommend that you give it a try. I have a Basic account with them and would surely be upgrading to their Pro account shortly.

    Hi Anuj:

One way of mitigating a risk of disaster is to have an online backup service. I have been reading about the online backup and storage industry for a while now. It is becoming a commonly accepted technology these days. For online backup news, information and articles, there is an excellent website:

    http://www.BackupReview.info

This site lists more than 400 online backup companies and ranks the top 25 on a monthly basis. It also features a CEO Spotlight page, where senior management people from the industry are interviewed.

Got something to say?
