There have been some announcements made recently regarding enhancements/updates in the advertising services being provided by some of the leading companies like Google & Yahoo. Here are the links:

• Google announced the release of Referrals 2.0 for all AdSense publishers. This launch primarily provides a much larger product inventory for publishers to choose from.
• Yahoo announced the launch of SmartAds. This is a step closer for them to get towards contextual advertisements and will enable them to take on Google AdSense head on.
