Get paid to have people view your photo galleries

Shareapic is a photo sharing service with a difference. They pay you to have your photo galleries shared in public. The money generation model is two pronged:

  • You can have your AdSense advertisements shown in your gallery, and
  • You get paid $0.22 CPM.

Will this be an alternative to PicasaWeb? I’m not sure.

I signed up for their service a couple of days back and was quite disappointed with the number of MySQL & PHP errors that get shown on the page. Was that a one-time affair with technical glitches at their end??

Any of you using this website? How have the payouts been so far?

Do you put personal photos of your family up there, or just shots that you like of scenery etc.? Also, does the ToS allow for folks to use these images royalty free - or is there anything which prevents them from “right clicking” and saving the image to be used elsewhere?

It does allow for images to be saved, you don’t have protection of your pictures. You are free to put any pictures on there that you are licensed to (you dont necessarily have to have taken them with your own camera though…)

I haven’t invested hardly any time at all in this, i just stuck up about 17 pictures I had from travel, if you want to see an example of how I did it on wordpress, here you go: http://forrestwebber.com/pictures (plus i’ll get some views out of it, right?!)

There are also two similar sites that works the same way than shareapic:

    Picspay and Imagefly

See how it works with Picspay, live gallery

Got something to say?
