Impactful WordPress Plugins

Here is another round-up of some useful and impactful WordPress plugins. Many of these will help in giving you more SEO juice as well.

TechnoSailor and Chris Garrett have recently written posts on some useful WordPress plugins. Given below is a consolidation of some of the plugins they covered, and I’ve added some of my own.

• Landing Sites: If you enter the site from a search engine, you might want to consider giving the reader some alternatives that might have content similar to your page. This helps in increasing reader stickyness.
• In-Series: If you write a post as a multi-part series, this plugin prepers a nice table of contents for your readers.
• Popularity Contest: Let your readers know your most popular plugins. This could simply be added to your sidebar.
• Subscribe to Comments: Let your readers know of updates to your post.
• Dagon Design Sitemap Generator: This is a simply awesome plugin. Rather than talking about it, see it in action on this blog here.
• Buy Me a Beer: This is a cute little plugin that allows you to add a line in your post to a PayPal donation titled as whatever you want.
