This article should be a no brainer!! After all, I’m using Adbrite on this website. That itself should answer a lot of your questions on its effectiveness.

Well, lets get into some more details…

I’ve been using Adbrite for a while now on many of my websites. It gives a lot of flexibility to publishers in terms of the advertisement choices available.

You can choose from:

  • Text & Banner ads: All standard sizes available. You can define a custom size as well.
  • Interstitial ads
  • Inline ads

Adbrite Home Page

All three of them are very useful and the one you choose would entirely depend on your target audience and the type of content on your website.

All you need to do is to answer a series of questions and you’ll get a JavaScript snippet to insert in your page. The system takes a couple of weeks to “warm-up” and then generates fairly good ads for your site.

The income from this has been quite good for me; I’ll not get into specifics though.

Payment is done net-60 days. What this means is that the cheque would be sent out 2 months after the completion of the month in question. So, if you made $10 in January, the cheque would be posted to you by the end of March.

WordPress users can install a plugin that will allow them to easily integrate the Adbrite service on their blogs. Read about it GoogleLady.
